The Smithereens - Local NJ Band Playing American Power Pop

Frankie Galasso, America's Featured Entertainment and Sports Cartoonist, got his start drawing his signature cartoons in newspapers locally in RI. His work on sports figures, musicians, and local politics earned him local and national journalism awards. Starting in Pawtucket, Frankie's work was then syndicated to over 30 newspapers in the United States.

The band has recorded ten studio albums as well as several live albums.
