Congrats to all Scouts from Pack One Saunderstown

At a recent ceremony, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts gathered with friends and family for the annual graduation ceremony. Wolfs became Bears. Bears became Webelo 1. Webelo 1 become Webelos 2, and so on. Scouts were brought up with their groups and the Advancement Trail proceedings commenced. Oaths were taken and faces were painted. Cameras flashed and the crowd cheered each group for their outstanding community service work. Congratulations to all of the participants and parents who support Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in our community. Special thanks to the Pack Leaders of Pack One Saunderstown for their hours and hours of volunteering with the boys and the events. From Harrison's Dad, thank you very much.

Pack 1 Saunderstown will be taking part in the annual Wickford Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th, 2015. We will meet at Wilson Park at 09:30am by the basketball courts and will finish at the Wickford Middle School. Class A uniform is required. Parents are welcome to march with their scouts. If you are not intending to march in the parade you may meet your son at the blue dugout on the 1st base line at Wickford Middle School, 250 Tower Hill Rd. For the safety of each scout, and in consideration of your leaders, who worry about your child as if he were our own while he is in our care, please remember to sign-in AND sign-out your child with either your son's den leader or me.

We will be accepting Family Fun Campout registration forms with payments (last day!) and the BSA annual health forms, before and after the parade. Also, remember your sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes. Click the image below to learn more on our website: www.pack1saunderstown.com.
